I want to be counted as yet another voice crying out in Cyberspace.  If Yukon has to wait I can live with SQL 2000 just fine.  Many DBA's will not be ready for .NET in the Data Store anyhow.  Thanks to Paul Wilson's post for echoing the cries!

Please don't hold up Whidbey for Yukon, WinFS, or anything else.  I can live without Yukon Cache invalidation for while and the SQL data paging features.

I too would prefer that Yukon not delay Whidbey, but as I understand it, the 2 products are interdependent to some extent. What I have heard (at DevDays and from teh ASP.Net team) is that Whidbey will be in final Beta in June (which is supposedly stable enough to be a RC). Still, we'll have to wait untl Yukon to go into production (unless they release a pre-release special licensed version like they did before).

I hate waiting...
