Wow, just when I thought the discussions around Rainbow v.Next were at their peak, they just took another step up.  We are planning v.Next to target Whidbey quite aggressively.  At the same time we will have an improved product on the 1.1 framework.  I expect to have a v.Next portal up soon with more details, road-maps, project plans, etc.  I will announce it here when it is launched.

Today I told Manu and Graz (Duemetri) ,who started Rainbow in the first place, that I might be able to visit Microsoft for a first hand look at Whidbey.  They are now trying to see how they can get to Seattle and Boise to see it with me.  It looks like we may throw a Rainbow event for a day in Boise during spring break to coincide with their visit.  Again, more details as soon as I can nail it all down.

ASP.NET CMS and Portal developers and wanna-be's hold on to your seats.  We are going to raise to bar in Open Source content management to a whole new level.

I live about an hour from Redmond. Please let me know when/if you plan to visit and I'll try to come along too. :) I'd offer accommodation, but I have a tiny apartment.
